Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network & Telecom Engineer to join our expanding team in Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to the successful execution of end-to-end network and telecommunications projects spanning design implementation testing and handover. The ideal candidate will play a key part in delivering high-performance secure and compliant infrastructure systems across diverse project environments. With responsibility for technical oversight team coordination and client collaboration this position demands a proactive detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic fast-paced project settings.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare shop drawings for LAN & WAN networks fiber optic systems CCTV access control structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
- Prepare BOQs and material submittals for consultant approval.
- Configure and manage network devices including switches routers firewalls VLANs and VPNs.
- Support network security implementation and ensure optimal system performance.
- Supervise on-site technicians and subcontractors; monitor project progress and compliance.
- Review Fluke and OTDR test reports during testing and commissioning phases.
- Prepare As-Built drawings and comprehensive technical documentation for project handover.
- Troubleshoot network routing and connectivity issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with project consultants clients and cross-functional engineering teams (electrical mechanical civil).
- Attend technical meetings and deliver practical actionable engineering solutions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering Telecommunications Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- Valid certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly advantageous.
- Proven understanding of network infrastructure routing & switching firewall management fiber optics structured cabling CCTV and access control systems.
- Experience using AutoCAD for technical drawing review and modifications.
- Familiarity with network testing tools including Fluke Tester and OTDR.
- Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage teams deliver under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
Required Skills:
Bachelors in Accounting / Finance 25 years UAE experience preferred IFRS VAT & Corporate Tax knowledge ERP & Excel proficiency Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
