The Works Inspector – Structures will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring structural construction activities on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings project specifications quality standards and safety requirements. The role involves close coordination with contractors consultants and project teams to ensure works are executed in accordance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect structural works including bridges culverts retaining walls underpasses tunnels chambers and other infrastructure-related structures.
Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications method statements and quality standards.
Verify reinforcement formwork concrete placement and related structural activities before execution.
Witness inspections testing and material approvals related to structural works.
Report non-conformances and monitor corrective actions.
Maintain inspection records site reports and documentation.
Coordinate with Resident Engineers contractors and QA/QC teams regarding inspection findings.
Ensure works are carried out in compliance with health safety and environmental requirements.
Participate in site meetings and provide technical input related to structural works.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision and inspection.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Roads & Utilities Infrastructure Projects.
Experience in inspection of bridges culverts retaining walls underpasses and other structural elements.
Strong knowledge of construction standards quality control procedures and inspection practices.
Familiarity with Ashghal and Qatar construction standards is preferred.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred
Previous experience on Ashghal Roads & Infrastructure Projects.
Valid Qatar Driving License.
Available in Qatar with transferable visa/NOC.
