We are seeking a versatile Tax Expert to oversee the organization's overall tax accounting compliance and planning functions. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely tax filings optimize the company’s tax positions and act as the subject-matter expert on all direct and indirect taxation matters.

• Tax Compliance & Filing: Ensure accurate and timely preparation review and filing of corporate tax returns VAT/GST returns withholding tax and local tax declarations.

• Tax Planning & Strategy: Identify legal tax-saving opportunities and structures to optimize the company's tax position while remaining fully compliant with all local regulations.

• Transfer Pricing: Assist with transfer pricing documentation benchmarking studies and intercompany agreements.

• Accounting for Taxes: Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions tax balance sheet reconciliations and tax notes for financial reporting under IFRS / GAAP.

• Authority Engagement: Represent the company during routine tax authority queries audits and assessments.

• Internal Advisory: Act as the internal advisor to procurement finance and operational teams on tax implications for vendor contracts and operational shifts.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or Taxation. CPA ACCA Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) or local professional accounting qualification is required.

• Experience: 5 years of broad tax experience in corporate tax departments or leading public accounting/tax firms.

• Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of direct/indirect tax laws accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and statutory reporting systems. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and Excel.
