Structural BIM Coordinator

Technical & BIM Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in structural BIM and coordination preferably on large-scale building/infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and Navisworks Manage.
• Good knowledge of structural modeling including concrete steel foundations slabs beams columns walls and structural connections.
• Strong understanding of BIM coordination clash detection model federation and issue resolution.
• Good understanding of ISO 19650 BIM workflows CDE environments and project BIM standards.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM collaboration workflows.
• Ability to review structural models against architectural and MEP models and identify coordination issues.
• Knowledge of structural families shared parameters model organization naming conventions and model auditing.
• Experience preparing and reviewing BIM deliverables clash reports model QA/QC and coordination reports.
• Understanding of structural drawings and ability to verify the BIM model against design intent and documentation.

Coordination & Management

• Coordinate effectively with Architectural MEP Civil and other BIM disciplines.
• Lead structural coordination meetings and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Monitor the structural team's modeling progress and ensure compliance with the BEP project standards and submission requirements.
• Review models before formal submissions and ensure they meet the required LOD and information requirements.
• Track and manage clashes and coordination issues through to closure.
• Support the BIM Manager in implementing BIM standards workflows and quality procedures.
