Solution Architect-Application

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect – Application to design scalable secure and high-performing application solutions aligned with business requirements. The role will involve translating business needs into technical architecture and working closely with development infrastructure security and business teams.

• Design and develop end-to-end application architecture and solution designs based on business and technical requirements.

• Translate business requirements into scalable secure and maintainable technical solutions.

• Define application architecture technology stack integration patterns APIs and data flows.

• Evaluate existing applications and recommend improvements modernization or optimization opportunities.

• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture security performance and integration standards.

• Work closely with developers business analysts project managers infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.

• Provide technical guidance and architectural direction to development teams.

• Review technical designs code architecture and implementation approaches.

• Design and oversee integration between applications databases APIs and third-party systems.

• Identify technical risks dependencies and potential bottlenecks and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Support application modernization cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives.

• Prepare architecture diagrams technical documentation solution specifications and design standards.

• Participate in technology evaluation and recommend suitable tools platforms and frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.

• 8 years of experience in application development software architecture or solution architecture.

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Application Architect in enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of application architecture software design patterns APIs microservices and system integration.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or GCP.

• Strong knowledge of databases application security scalability performance and high availability.

• Experience designing REST APIs web services and enterprise integrations.

• Good understanding of DevOps CI/CD containers and modern software development practices.

• Experience with architecture and modelling tools such as Visio ArchiMate or similar.

• Strong analytical problem-solving communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience in enterprise application modernization and cloud transformation.

• Experience working with large-scale or complex enterprise applications.

• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect AWS Solutions Architect TOGAF or equivalent.

• GCC/Qatar project experience will be an advantage.
