Senior Architect Design Manager

• Lead the overall design management for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
  

• Manage and coordinate with external design consultants architects and engineers.
  

• Review and approve design concepts drawings and technical submissions.
  

• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project stages.
  

• Review all consultant deliverables including concept schematic detailed design and IFC packages.
  

• Ensure design quality completeness and compliance with project requirements.
  

• Identify gaps discrepancies and risks in design submissions and initiate corrective actions.
  

• Lead design change management processes across projects.
  

• Propose and implement value engineering solutions to optimize cost without compromising quality.
  

• Evaluate design alternatives and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  

• Manage all authority submissions and follow up for approvals.
  

• Coordinate with local authorities regulatory bodies and master developers.
  

• Ensure timely approvals to avoid project delays.
  

• Ensure all designs comply with:
  

  • Local regulations and authority requirements
    

  • Master developer guidelines
    

  • International design standards and best practices
    

• Monitor adherence to design specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  

• Liaise with internal teams (project management construction commercial).
  

• Conduct design coordination meetings with consultants and contractors.
  

• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  

• Maintain proper documentation of all design stages and approvals.
  

• Prepare periodic design status reports for management.
  

• Track design progress against project timelines.
  

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Architecture.
  

• Professional registration or certification is an advantage.
  

Minimum 1015 years of experience in architectural design and design management.

Proven experience in real estate / mixed-use / large-scale developments.

Experience working with developers or master developers is highly preferred.

Strong exposure to authority approval processes (preferably in GCC/Qatar).
