We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Safety Officer in Qatar. Our client is a reputed organization in the Oil & Gas sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures across project sites.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy and client safety standards.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor permit-to-work and confined space activities.
- Maintain HSE documentation and statutory records.
- Coordinate emergency response and safety drills.
- NEBOSH IGC Mandatory international safety certification.
- HSE Compliance Ensure adherence to project safety standards.
- Risk Assessment Identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Incident Investigation Analyze and report safety incidents.
- Oil & Gas Safety Experience in LNG/EPC construction projects.
- Qatar Energy project experience.
- LNG project exposure.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Candidates must have 58 years of relevant SHE/HSE experience in Oil & Gas LNG or large-scale EPC construction projects. Previous experience with Qatar Energy or Qatar Energy LNG projects will be an added advantage.
- Minimum: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Safety Health & Environment (SHE) Engineering Science or related discipline.
- Preferred: Relevant postgraduate qualification (if any).
- Additional Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate (Mandatory).
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of HSE laws regulations and international standards. Expertise in risk assessment hazard identification and incident investigation. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to conduct audits and training programs effectively. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
