Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project budgets cost estimates and financial forecasts.
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform detailed quantity take-offs.
- Manage tendering activities evaluate bids and assist with contract negotiations.
- Monitor project expenditure and implement effective cost-control measures.
- Prepare valuations variations claims and final accounts.
- Review and administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular cost reports and commercial updates to management.
- Identify commercial risks and recommend practical cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation budgeting procurement and contract administration.
- Experience in handling project variations claims and final account settlements.
- Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software is an advantage.
Required Skills:
Engineer Certified Proven experience with Oracle ERP systems in a construction or project management environment Strong organizational and documentation management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven setting Proficiency in project lifecycle administration and process optimization
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
