ملخص الوظيفة
Foreground is partnering with a leading construction group in Qatar to identify a Procurement Manager who will oversee the sourcing and supply of materials and services for large-scale infrastructure and building projects. This role requires strong vendor management cost optimization and contract negotiation expertise ensuring procurement aligns with project delivery timelines and budget controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement function managing end-to-end sourcing vendor prequalification and contract execution.
- Develop procurement strategies that ensure material availability cost competitiveness and quality compliance.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize value and reduce risk exposure.
- Monitor supply chain performance resolving bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.
- Establish and maintain supplier performance evaluation and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and finance teams on procurement forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Administration or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of procurement experience in the construction sector.
- Strong negotiation contract management and vendor development skills.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement standards.
- Fluency in English required Arabic preferred.
