ملخص الوظيفة
- Install assemble maintain and repair mechanical equipment piping systems pumps valves and associated components.
- Perform equipment alignment fitting bolting flange assembly gasket replacement and leak rectification.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings isometric drawings equipment manuals and technical specifications.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance equipment inspections and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Follow permit-to-work procedures toolbox talks and all site HSE requirements.
- Use hand tools power tools measuring instruments and lifting equipment safely.
- Coordinate with supervisors technicians and other trades to complete work within the project schedule.
- ITI Diploma or recognized trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting or a related discipline.
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Hands-on experience with pumps valves piping flanges bearings and rotating equipment.
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings equipment layouts and technical instructions.
- Knowledge of equipment alignment torqueing fitting tolerances and safe lifting practices.
- Good understanding of industrial safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in confined spaces at heights and under site conditions.
- Must communicate effectively in English and be available to join immediately.
Required Skills:
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift carry and move heavy materials; work in confined or elevated spaces. Experience: Previous experience in insulation work is an advantage but not always required for helper roles. Knowledge: Basic understanding of insulation materials tools and techniques (training is usually provided for helpers). Team Player: Willingness to work under supervision and assist skilled workers. Work Conditions: Comfortable working in cold environments outdoors or at heights. Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; basic understanding of workplace safety signs and labels.
