Position: Lifting Supervisor

Location: Qatar

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Lifting Supervisors to join our client team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning supervising and coordinating all lifting operations to ensure they are executed safely efficiently and in compliance with QatarEnergy standards approved lifting plans and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting and crane operations at the project site.

• Ensure all lifting activities are performed in accordance with approved lifting plans risk assessments and method statements.

• Verify that cranes lifting accessories and rigging equipment are inspected certified and fit for use.

• Conduct pre-lift meetings toolbox talks and ensure all personnel understand the lifting procedures.

• Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy (QE) HSE requirements PTW systems and project-specific lifting procedures.

• Coordinate with crane operators riggers safety personnel and construction teams to execute lifting activities safely.

• Monitor lifting operations and immediately stop any unsafe work or non-compliant activities.

• Report incidents near misses and unsafe conditions while promoting a strong safety culture.

• Maintain accurate records of lifting operations and equipment certifications.

Minimum Qualifications (As per QE LNG Contractor Standard)

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in Oil & Gas LNG Petrochemical or major industrial projects.

• Valid Third-Party Lifting Supervisor Certification (e.g. TÜV NPORS CISRS OPITO or equivalent).

• Proven QatarEnergy (QE) / Oil & Gas project experience (QE LNG experience preferred).

• Approved Rigging & Lifting Training certification.

• Valid Third-Party Medical Fitness Certificate.

• Valid H2S Certification.

• Proven experience supervising lifting and crane operations.

• Good knowledge of QatarEnergy (QE) safety standards lifting procedures and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.

• Strong understanding of lifting equipment rigging practices load calculations lifting accessories and safe lifting operations.

• Ability to work effectively in a high-risk Oil & Gas environment.

• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health safety and operational excellence.

Preferred

• Previous experience on QatarEnergy LNG projects.

• Immediate availability or short notice period.
