ملخص الوظيفة
Job Purpose
Understand evaluate and maintain instrumentation-related data for the facility using SPI INTools ensuring accurate and up-to-date Process Safety Information (PSI) in compliance with company standards.
Key Accountabilities
1. Facility Changes & Modifications
- Ensure instrumentation deliverables are updated in SPI INTools within the required timeframe in accordance Process Safety Information (PSI) Policy and Management of Change (MOC) requirements.
- Update and maintain instrumentation-related PSI documents including:
- Instrument Index
- Instrument Specification Sheets
- Junction Box & Panel Wiring Drawings
- Interconnection Diagrams
- Loop Drawings
- Alarm & Trip Set Controller Summary
- I/O Assignments
- Other instrumentation documentation
- Verify instrumentation data changes resulting from facility modifications including field verification when required.
- Provide updated SPI INTools information to support ongoing engineering projects operations and maintenance activities.
- Create and maintain new instrumentation data in SPI INTools to meet facility engineering requirements.
- Manage and maintain the plant's instrument tag database ensuring no duplicate tag numbers.
2. SPI INTools Database Administration
- Coordinate with IT and the SPI INTools Contractor for:
- System administration
- Data initialization
- Backup and recovery
- Data security
- Periodic system upgrades
- Support:
- Bulk data extraction and retrieval
- SPI INTools reporting functions
- User group and domain management
- User profile administration
- User training
- Software license renewals
3. Quality Health Safety Security & Environment (QHSSE)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company QHSSE procedures within the Instrument & Electrical Section.
- Promote safe working practices while supporting the delivery of high-quality services.
4. Reporting
- Prepare timely and accurate reports in line with departmental requirements policies and standards.
5. Qatarization
- Contribute to the development and mentoring of Qatari employees (applicable to expatriate employees only).
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Required
- Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering
Experience
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Preferred
- Experience in the Petrochemical industry
Technical Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SPI INTools
- Strong understanding of instrumentation documentation and Process Safety Information (PSI)
- Knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes
