Instrument Engineer

The Instrument Engineer is responsible for executing and supervising instrument maintenance testing calibration troubleshooting and commissioning activities within Oil & Gas facilities. The role ensures the reliability and performance of field instrumentation process control systems and associated equipment while maintaining compliance with company procedures and HSE standards.

• Perform preventive predictive corrective and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems.
  
• Execute instrument loop checking loop testing functional testing and commissioning activities.
  
• Perform installation inspection calibration testing and troubleshooting of field instruments.
  
• Carry out hook-up works for pressure temperature flow and level instruments.
  
• Calibrate and maintain transmitters switches gauges analyzers control valves and valve positioners.
  
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of pneumatic electro-pneumatic and smart instrumentation systems.
  
• Read and interpret P&IDs instrument loop diagrams hook-up drawings wiring diagrams and datasheets.
  
• Coordinate with operations maintenance engineering and construction teams during shutdowns and project execution.
  
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with project specifications and quality requirements.
  
• Maintain accurate calibration records maintenance reports and technical documentation.
  
• Comply with PTW LOTO and HSE procedures at all times.
  
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
