Installation Engineer (Electrical)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Installation Engineer - Electrical to oversee the installation testing commissioning and maintenance of electrical infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure electrical works are executed in accordance with project specifications applicable standards safety requirements and approved quality procedures.

The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems project coordination site supervision testing & commissioning and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical installation activities at project sites.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out according to approved drawings specifications and safety regulations.
• Coordinate installation testing commissioning and handover activities.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
• Review engineering drawings technical documents and material submittals.
• Perform site inspections and verify installation quality.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for LV MV and related electrical systems.
• Prepare technical reports progress updates inspection records and project documentation.
• Identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations international standards and company quality procedures.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 810 years of experience in electrical installation construction testing commissioning or utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure utility industrial energy or electrical distribution projects is preferred.
• Proven experience in site supervision and project execution.
