ملخص الوظيفة
- Assist mechanical technicians and fitters with equipment installation maintenance dismantling and repair activities.
- Carry tools materials spare parts and equipment to designated work areas.
- Support the cleaning lubrication and inspection of pumps valves motors gearboxes and piping components.
- Assist with bolt tightening gasket replacement equipment alignment and basic fitting work under supervision.
- Prepare work areas and safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and organize tools and materials after completing work.
- Follow supervisors instructions permit-to-work requirements LOTO procedures and site safety regulations.
- Wear the required PPE and immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment defects.
- Secondary education ITI or basic mechanical trade training is preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in construction industrial maintenance or Oil & Gas projects.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools equipment and maintenance activities.
- Ability to identify common tools fasteners valves pipes and mechanical components.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting materials and working in hot dusty elevated or confined areas.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety PPE housekeeping and manual handling.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under the supervision of technicians or fitters.
- Valid QID and immediate availability are preferred for local hiring.
Required Skills:
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift carry and move heavy materials; work in confined or elevated spaces. Experience: Previous experience in insulation work is an advantage but not always required for helper roles. Knowledge: Basic understanding of insulation materials tools and techniques (training is usually provided for helpers). Team Player: Willingness to work under supervision and assist skilled workers. Work Conditions: Comfortable working in cold environments outdoors or at heights. Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; basic understanding of workplace safety signs and labels.
