Cost Manager (MEP) Data Centre

Turner & Townsend is looking for an MEP Cost Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Centre project in Qatar.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for pre and post-contract cost management duties for MEP packages including cost estimating cost planning procurement tendering contract administration variations change management and final account settlement.
• Prepare and manage detailed MEP cost estimates budgets and cost plans throughout all project stages.
• Review and collaborate with design teams to ensure MEP designs are commercially viable and aligned with project budget objectives.
• Manage the procurement process for MEP works including preparation of tender documentation tender analysis bid evaluation and contract recommendations.
• Provide robust cost control financial reporting forecasting and commercial advice throughout the delivery of the Data Centre project.
• Assess and manage variations claims and change requests ensuring accurate valuation and cost impact assessment.

Qualifications :

• BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• 5-15 years post graduate experience 
• Experience managing MEP costs on large-scale building mission-critical or Data Centre projects
• Professional membership is an advantage i.e. MRICS 
• Experienced user of MS Office advanced MS Excel user
