Role Overview
We are looking for experienced and hands-on Data Center / IT Support Engineers for a freelance work based in Muscat this role you will play a critical part in our Data Center Installation Project ensuring seamless execution hardware setup and network infrastructure deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & Data Center Setup: Handle physical rack mounting rack exchange cabling server installation and hardware component replacements.
Network & Infrastructure Support: Assist with the setup configuration and troubleshooting of network devices switches routers and IT network infrastructure.
Diagnostics & Maintenance: Perform initial hardware diagnostics cable tracing labeling and signal testing to ensure optimal operating conditions.
Vendor & Project Coordination: Work alongside on-site technical teams and remote engineers to execute deployment plans according to project specifications.
Documentation: Keep detailed logs of rack layouts asset tagging maintenance activities and completed installations.
