  • Work within an Integrated Operations Centre environment that supports collaboration across planning and operational teams.
  • Develop expertise in advanced terminal operating systems and vessel and yard planning processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate vessel operations ensuring accurate cargo control vessel-related EDIs load lists and planning documentation are delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with shipping lines liner operations teams and global stowage planners to resolve discrepancies and support safe efficient vessel operations.
  • Prepare and communicate load and discharge sequences while maintaining accurate operational updates within terminal systems.
  • Monitor vessel stability safety compliance and operational performance throughout execution.
  • Execute yard planning strategies through effective container decking terminal operating system configuration and inventory management.
  • Develop contingency plans to minimize unproductive moves and maintain operational continuity during exceptions or disruptions.
  • Monitor yard integrity equipment utilization and operational metrics while supporting continuous improvement across terminal operations.
What We Are Looking For
  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful sustainable improvements over time.
  • Masters degree or Engineering degree in a relevant field such as IT Mechanical Engineering Automation Civil Engineering Industrial Engineering Statistics Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar planning operations or logistics-related role.
  • Strong planning organizational and analytical skills with the ability to identify solutions and respond effectively to operational exceptions.
  • Advanced computer skills and the ability to work confidently with operational systems and data-driven processes.
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of work quality under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong teamwork collaboration and relationship-building skills combined with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English supported by a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
About the Role
As a Terminal Planner you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and execution of vessel and yard operations. Working within the Integrated Operations Centre you will use terminal operating systems and planning processes to support safe productive and reliable terminal operations.
You will be responsible for coordinating operational activities across multiple stakeholders including shipping lines planning teams and terminal operations personnel. Your focus will be on ensuring optimal resource utilization maintaining operational continuity and supporting the achievement of productivity and capacity targets.
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced operational environment. You will contribute to both day-to-day execution and continuous improvement initiatives helping to strengthen the efficiency flexibility and dependability of terminal operations.
