Job Description
IT Consultant / Access & Systems Management
IT Security & Access Management
- Implement and improve security protocols related to:laptop access shared drives and file systems user accounts and password management.
- Recommend and implement IT security best practices.
- Manage user permissions and access rights based on employee roles and responsibilities.
- Conduct periodic audits of user access and permissions.
- Shared Drive Structure & Organization
- Analyze the current shared drive and folder structure.
- Recommend a logical secure and scalable folder architecture.
- Organize drives and permissions according to the approved structure.
- Standardize document organization and access management practices.
Data Systems Management
- Support and maintain internal data management systems and collaborative platforms.
- Assist in improving internal IT processes and workflows.
- Provide user support related to systems access and usage.
- Investigate technical issues data breaches or software failures and outlining actionable solutions.
- Recommend and implement solutions to harmonize systems and processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
- Help staff transition to new systems and teaching best practices for data security and productivity.
IT Onboarding & Offboarding
- Support IT onboarding for new employees including: account creation; access provisioning; setup of systems and equipment.
- Manage access removal and account deactivation for departing employees.
- Maintain up-to-date access lists and IT inventory records.
