With a vision of a more resilient, interconnected, and compassionate community, Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park/Silver Spring is a nonprofit organiation that works tirelessly to prepare and deliver delicious, healthy meals to our homebound neighbors. Currently, we deliver 2 meals each weekday to 100 clients. We have a small paid staff of five and over 150 volunteers. In this workplace, we are focused on our mission. We are kind, respectful and encouraging, and we communicate openly and directly. There is space for curiosity and innovation. We work hard and we trust that others are working hard, too. We express a generosity of spirit. Our small, friendly team enjoys working together and supporting one another.
