To ensure stable and efficient operation of the roasting and smelting processes by analyzing data and taking appropriate
steps to ensure process stability.
Responsibility:
Required to develop and implemented strategic plans for continuous production.
Plan the availability and reliability of roasting and reduction furnaces refining and fuming vessels.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and cost efficiency.
Lead and develop production teams to achieve production targets and foster a culture of excellence.
Create a safety culture through productive and authorized operational systems/ processes that allow all employees
(including contracting partners) to provide their outputs in a risk-controlled environment.
Oversee consistent application of safety and health principles in all discipline interactions and take personal
responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
Develop and manage the budget for the entire production department with clear view of the required maintenance
within a window of 1 to 5 years.
Manage critical performance asset performance to ensure production outcomes are met according to business
expectations.
Requirements
BSc/B-tech degree Metallurgical / Chemical Engineering
5 years of relevant post graduate experience within a Pyrometallurgical environment (Rotary kiln Reduction Furnaces / and Refining furnaces)
Extensive experience in Pyrometallurgical environment (Rotary kiln Reduction Furnaces / and Refining furnaces)
Sound understanding of research and development process principles in the industry
Highly computer literate and well experienced in Microsoft office.
Good communication skills for effective liaison and teamwork.
Problem-solving skills analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on several tasks or projects concurrently
Commercial acumen and an awareness of the business value of work undertaken.
The ability to work well independently with minimum supervision.
Drive enthusiasm and self-motivation.
Good presentation skills
