Nephrology Specialist
Department: Internal Medicine
Reports To: Head of Internal Medicine
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Nephrology Specialist will diagnose and manage kidney diseases electrolyte disorders hypertension acute and chronic kidney conditions and dialysis patients while ensuring high-quality renal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat renal diseases.
- Manage dialysis patients.
- Evaluate acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease.
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients regarding renal health.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Degree.
- Specialist Degree in Nephrology.
Experience Required:
- 35 years of specialist experience.
Required Skills:
Assess and manage critically ill patients. Develop and implement treatment plans. Perform ICU procedures within scope of practice. Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced life support. Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care. Lead emergency resuscitation efforts. Participate in ICU quality improvement initiatives.
Required Education:
Medical Degree in Intensive Care Medicine/Critical Car
