Intensivist / Critical Care Specialist
Department: Intensive Care Unit
Reports To: ICU Medical Director
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Intensivist / Critical Care Specialist will provide comprehensive medical management for critically ill patients requiring advanced life support intensive monitoring and multidisciplinary care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage critically ill patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Perform ICU procedures within scope of practice.
- Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced life support.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
- Lead emergency resuscitation efforts.
- Participate in ICU quality improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Degree.
- Specialist Degree in Intensive Care Medicine/Critical Care.
Experience Required:
- 35 years of intensive care experience.
Key Skills:
- Critical care medicine.
- Mechanical ventilation.
- Advanced life support.
- Clinical judgment.
- Emergency management.
- Team leadership.
Required Skills:
