Senior Accountant

Our client a leading company in the healthcare distribution sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to run day-to-day accounting operations and support the monthly and annual closing working closely with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries and accruals
• Prepare the monthly closing and support the preparation of financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up on supplier and customer balances
• Prepare bank supplier and customer reconciliations
• Support inventory and cost accounting including stock reconciliation with the warehouse
• Prepare VAT and other statutory filings in line with Lebanese regulations
• Prepare reports and support budgeting and variance analysis
• Support internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documents
• Record transactions and generate reports in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)

Requirements

• 3 years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• Strong Excel skills
• Fluent in Arabic and English written and spoken
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
