Senior Architect

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Architect to join our dynamic team in Kuwait City this pivotal role you will serve as a key design leader responsible for delivering exceptional architectural solutions while maintaining the highest standards of design excellence. You will act as the primary point of contact for all design-related matters collaborating seamlessly with clients consultants and internal teams to ensure projects are executed with precision innovation and transparency. • Lead and manage architectural design teams across multiple simultaneous projects ensuring clear communication well-defined tasks and measurable targets
• Evaluate document monitor and control client briefs while maintaining ownership of design direction and project vision
• Coordinate effectively across all disciplines including Architecture Landscape 3D Visualization MEP and Interior Design to deliver cohesive high-quality architectural products
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients external consultants and internal stakeholders providing responsive and transparent communication
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of design briefs producing sketches options and diagrams to effectively communicate design opportunities and challenges
• Establish chair and document project team meetings and coordination sessions ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned on project objectives and milestones
• Monitor and maintain project milestones ensuring timely delivery of design phases within approved budgets
• Review and verify drawings and specifications for accuracy ensuring seamless coordination between disciplines and consultants
• Implement and oversee quality assurance and quality control procedures to maintain design standards and regulatory compliance
• Manage and coordinate internal and external changes through formal change control procedures minimizing project disruption
• Mentor and support team members professional development recognizing individual strengths and fostering a collaborative inclusive work environment
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and building codes throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate smooth transitions between design project and post-contract teams to maintain project continuity and quality

Qualifications :

**Education and Certifications:**

• Bachelors degree in Architecture with RIBA Parts 1 2 and 3 or equivalent qualification
• Registered architect status (ARB or equivalent in country of origin)
• RIBA or equivalent professional membership preferred

**Required Experience:**

• Minimum 12 years of professional architectural experience
• At least 4 years of experience as a project architect or in a senior design leadership role
• Proven experience managing architectural teams and coordinating multi-disciplinary projects
• Demonstrated expertise in design coordination and quality assurance/quality control procedures
• Strong background working in office environments as part of collaborative teams

**Preferred Experience:**

• Resident architect or on-site project experience
• Experience in high-rise building design and construction
• Proven track record of successful client liaison and stakeholder management
• Experience with change management and regulatory compliance in complex projects

**Technical Skills and Tools:**

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for architectural design and documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Project Outlook)
• Strong skills in design visualization and presentation software (Photoshop 3D Max)
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and workflows
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
