Job Description
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Procurement Engineer / Material Control Engineer in Kuwait. Our client is a reputed organization in the Engineering / Industrial sector seeking skilled and motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Source spare parts from international and local suppliers.
- Manage procurement activities while ensuring cost efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and material availability.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations negotiations and deliveries.
- Maintain material control records and procurement documentation.
- Ensure timely procurement to support operational requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.
Required Skills
- International Procurement Experience sourcing global suppliers.
- Local Procurement Vendor identification and negotiations.
- Material Control Inventory planning and stock monitoring.
- Vendor Management Supplier evaluation and relationship management.
- Supply Chain Coordination Procurement planning and logistics.
Preferred Skills
- ERP/SAP Procurement Module
- Contract Management
- Import & Export Documentation
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement material control or supply chain operations preferably in engineering or industrial environments. Experience in international spare parts sourcing and vendor management is highly preferred.
Education
- Minimum: Any Degree
- Preferred: Supply Chain / Procurement Certification
- Additional: ERP/SAP Procurement certifications (preferred)
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of HSE laws regulations and international standards. Expertise in risk assessment hazard identification and incident investigation. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to conduct audits and training programs effectively. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
