Job Description
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Mechanical Engineer in Kuwait. Our client is a reputed organization in the Power Generation sector seeking skilled and motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems in a large-scale power plant.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Inspect turbines pumps compressors boilers and auxiliary systems.
- Coordinate shutdown and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety and maintenance standards.
- Analyse equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare maintenance reports and technical documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for plant reliability.
Required Skills
- Power Plant Mechanical Maintenance Experience maintaining large-scale power plant equipment.
- Rotating Equipment Expertise in turbines pumps compressors and motors.
- Preventive Maintenance Planning and executing maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshooting Root cause analysis of mechanical failures.
- Safety Compliance Knowledge of industrial safety practices and standards.
Preferred Skills
- SAP PM or CMMS knowledge.
- Shutdown maintenance planning.
- Leadership and team coordination.
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within large-scale power plants. Experience handling critical plant equipment and maintenance planning is essential.
Education
- Minimum: B.E. Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred: M.E. Mechanical Engineering
- Additional Certifications: Power Plant Maintenance NEBOSH or equivalent (preferred)
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
