Position Overview:
The Full Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor of Professional Ethics is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in professional ethics fostering critical thinking and ethical decision-making and contributing to the academic development of the program. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong teaching experience subject-matter expertise and a commitment to student learning and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging undergraduate courses in Professional Ethics and related subjects.
• Develop update and revise course syllabi learning materials and assessments.
• Incorporate contemporary ethical issues case studies and real-world professional scenarios into teaching.
• Apply interactive and student-centered teaching methodologies to promote critical thinking and ethical reasoning.
• Integrate relevant professional standards ethical frameworks and codes of conduct into course content.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in English Literature or Philosophy
• Experience in teaching ethics or similar humanities courses
• University teaching experience in degree level programs
• Familiarity with Kuwait educational context
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
