Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to install maintain troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of electrical wiring safety regulations and electrical maintenance procedures to ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently.

• Install inspect maintain and repair electrical wiring fixtures switches sockets and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify the causes of malfunctions.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Test electrical circuits and components to ensure proper operation.
• Install and maintain lighting systems circuit breakers distribution boards and electrical panels.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable safety standards and regulations.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling electrical tools equipment and materials.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and report issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain tools equipment and records of completed maintenance work.
• Coordinate with other technicians and maintenance personnel when necessary.

• Diploma technical certificate or vocational training in Electrical Technology or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience as an Electrician or Electrical Technician is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring installation maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical tools testing instruments and safety procedures.
• Good problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of working in different environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime when required.
