Job Description
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Electrical Engineer in Kuwait. Our client is a reputed organization in the Power Generation sector seeking skilled and motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in a large-scale power plant.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Ensure reliable operation of transformers switchgear and motors.
- Monitor electrical distribution systems for safe and efficient performance.
- Coordinate shutdown and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare maintenance reports and technical documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for plant reliability.
Required Skills
- Power Plant Electrical Maintenance Experience in utility-scale power plants.
- High Voltage Systems Handling HV equipment safely.
- Electrical Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
- Switchgear & Transformers Maintenance and operation.
- Electrical Safety Standards Compliance with industrial safety practices.
Preferred Skills
- Protection Relay Knowledge
- SCADA/DCS Exposure
- SAP Maintenance Module Experience
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a large-scale power plant environment. Experience with power generation equipment high-voltage systems and industrial maintenance practices is essential.
Education
- Minimum: B.E. Electrical
- Preferred: Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering (Typical)
- Additional Certifications: Industrial Electrical Safety / HV Switching Certification (Typical)
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
