As Avertra Corps JavaScript Developer you will be in charge of all duties related to both the front-end and back-end of the platform from developing designs for complicated applications to analyzing code. This includes optimizing applications ensuring UI/UX feasibility and implementing API designs and architecture.

Main Job Responsibilities

Create new user-facing features and front-end applications for various platforms.
Help out with front-end and backend work on other applications.
Modify/maintain complex existing applications and develop new specifications and designs.
Ability to design and write effective unit tests to ensure code reliability maintainability and high test coverage.
Perform requirements analysis identification of code metrics code analysis system risk analysis usability automation and software reliability analysis.

Requirements

Needed Competencies

Strong project management and organizational skills.
Communication skills and critical thinking.
English proficiency.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or Mathematics.

Experience

At least 1-4 years of experience in web technologies HTML CSS and JavaScript.
Experience with a responsive design for desktop/mobile.
Extensive HTML/CSS/Javascript coding experience including Node TypeScript React and .
Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB Azure CosmosDB).
Experience working with ORMs (e.g. Drizzle Prisma TypeORM)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
AI agentic tools (e.g. Claude Code Codex Cursor).
Software development best practices (e.g. DRY KISS TDD DDD).

Depending on project needs
