This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join a Saudi-based FinTech company operating in the financial services sector.

The ideal candidate will have 35 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity preferably gained within a cybersecurity company financial institution fintech company or technology provider delivering cybersecurity solutions and services to the banking and financial services industry.

The role will be responsible for supporting the organizations cybersecurity operations identifying and mitigating security risks monitoring threats maintaining security controls and helping ensure the security of digital platforms systems and sensitive financial data.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and support the organizations cybersecurity environment and security controls.

Identify assess and help mitigate cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.

Conduct security monitoring investigation and incident response activities.

Support vulnerability assessment and remediation activities.

Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity policies procedures and controls.

Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.

Support threat detection analysis and response activities.

Conduct security assessments of systems applications networks and infrastructure.

Work with IT and technology teams to identify and resolve security issues.

Support endpoint network application and cloud security activities.

Assist with security testing vulnerability management and penetration testing activities where applicable.

Maintain cybersecurity documentation reports and incident records.

Support compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards financial-sector requirements and internal security policies.

Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and industry best practices.

Collaborate with internal teams and external cybersecurity service providers when required.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Security Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

35 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity / Information Security.

Experience in a Cybersecurity company FinTech bank financial institution payment company or technology provider serving the financial sector is preferred.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles security controls and risk management.

Experience with Security Monitoring Incident Response Vulnerability Management and Threat Detection.

Knowledge of network security endpoint security application security and cloud security.

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks standards and best practices.

Experience working with security tools such as SIEM EDR IDS/IPS vulnerability scanners or security monitoring platforms is preferred.

Understanding of common cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and attack techniques.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good command of English.

Required Skills:

8 years of experience in operations preferably in automotive e-commerce or marketplaces. Bachelors degree in Business Operations or related field (MBA is a plus) Proven experience managing end-to-end operations in a digital platform Previous experience in automotive industry (cars marketplace dealerships or similar) is a must Experience in scaling startups or digital platforms is a strong plus Strong understanding of logistics supply chain and vendor onboarding Experience working with cross-functional teams (tech marketing sales) Arabic speaker is required.
