WordPress Developer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to maintain and enhance our company website.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in WordPress as well as other web content management tools to ensure our website remains current functional and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Maintenance and Improvement:
  
• Regularly update and maintain our WordPress website ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to website functionality layout and content.
  
• Content Management:
  
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to update website content including text images and multimedia.
  
• Optimize website content for SEO and ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility guidelines
  
• Web Development:
  
• Develop new features and functionalities as per business requirements.
  
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific needs.
  
• Technical Support and Training:
  
• Provide technical support to internal teams regarding website management.
  
• Train staff in using WordPress and other content management systems effectively.
  
• Collaboration and Reporting:
  
• Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams on web projects.
  
• Report on website performance and suggest improvements
  

Requirements

• Qualifications:
  
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Web Development or related field.
  
• Proven experience in web development particularly in WordPress and other industry leading content management systems such as Drupal & Joomla
  
• 23 years of handson experience as a WordPress Developer.
  
• Proficient in PHP JavaScript HTML and CSS for effective website development.
  
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites ensuring high performance security and scalability.
  
• Create custom plugins and themes tailored to meet client requirements.
  
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
  
• Experience in creating custom plugins and themes to address specific client needs.
  
• Experience in integrating thirdparty APIs.
  
• Familiarity with website hosting on cloud computing platforms such as AWS GCP and Azure.
