Tax Manager

Position: Tax Manager

Position Overview:

As the Tax Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our clients tax compliance and planning. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their tax obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner. You will also provide strategic tax planning advice to help our clients minimize their tax liabilities and maximize their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all tax compliance for our clients including federal state and local taxes

Prepare and review tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Stay uptodate with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate any potential impact to our clients

Provide tax planning advice to clients identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimizing potential risks

Collaborate with other departments such as finance and accounting to gather necessary information for tax filings

Build and maintain relationships with clients serving as their main point of contact for taxrelated matters

Train and mentor junior tax staff providing guidance and support as needed

Participate in special tax projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Continuously improve and streamline tax processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field

CPA certification preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department

Strong knowledge of federal state and local tax laws and regulations

Experience with tax software and systems such as QuickBooks and TurboTax

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Attention to detail and accuracy

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
