ShippingReceiving Clerk

This position is responsible for day to day execution of routing shipments timely and accurately processing all shipment documentation invoicing communicating requirements to carriers controlling all cuttime pickups to maximize service levels and some forklift operation. Excellent communication abilities are desired.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparing and printing the shipping labels and scheduling pickups per order specifications
  

• Processing shipments based on the buyer s preferred shipping system or identifying the most costeffective shipping solution for the company
  

• Tracking inventory and updating records or reporting shortages to the production manager
  

• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace for the team and updating supplies as needed
  

• May include some light production work during slow periods.
  
• May include running local picks ups of products/supplies or drop offs at Fedex/UPS facilities
  

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
  

• Forklift experience helpful but not required (can be trained)
  

• Excellent communications skills
  

• Comfortable working on a computer typing excel email
  
• Comfortable using shipping software (Fedex & UPS DHL a plus)
  
• Must have valid driver s license with clean driving history
