Senior Logistics Manager (Warehouse Manager)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Logistics Manager to oversee our warehouse operations effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations including inventory management logistics coordination and team leadership. The Senior Logistics Manager will play a critical role in optimizing warehouse efficiency ensuring timely delivery of goods and maintaining high standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daytoday warehouse operations including receiving storage and distribution of goods.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize space utilization and minimize handling costs.
• Supervise warehouse staff including hiring training and performance management.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments.
• Analyze warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies regarding inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for warehouse staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or related field.
• 8 to 10 years of Proven experience as a warehouse manager or similar role with a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
