Job Summary
Lumenci is a legal tech startup founded by group of IIT alumni in US. Lumenci s mission is to transform the legal and intellectual property industry in US & Europe with ground-breaking products and services. We are currently looking to build an exceptionally strong technical team in Gurgaon, India, to help us deliver high quality products and services to our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
Manage/produce SEP claim charts using knowledge and study of technical specification across 3GPP standards.
Perform prior art searches for SEP patents (both patent and non-patent literature) with special focus on 3GPP T-docs.
Support, as appropriate, patent licensing, litigation, and complex business transactions by providing patent portfolio analysis, due diligence, infringement and invalidity analysis, prior art search, and claim charting.
Manage a global SEP patent portfolio including interacting with attorneys and engineering management to find the best value.
Manage and train a team of skilled individuals to perform the activities mentioned above.
Regularly collaborate with clients and industry experts in this technology area to generate useful insights and high-quality work products.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in science and technology (preferably majoring in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering).
2+ years of experience with patent analysis (preferably with some experience in SEP analysis), preferably in a patent department of a global technology company, international patent law firm, or a patent consulting firm.
In depth understanding of telecommunications technology, especially 4G and/or 5G and a very good understanding of 3GPP standards. Possess strong analytical skills and fundamental grasp of both legal and wireless communications concepts.
