About the Job:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a solid background in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads driving sales opportunities and contributing to the growth of our companys client base. This role requires excellent communication skills a deep understanding of IT products and services and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Lead Generation: Utilize various channels such as cold calling email campaigns social media and networking events to generate new leads and expand the companys client base
Qualifying Leads: Assess and qualify inbound leads to determine their potential as sales opportunities. Conduct thorough research to understand the prospects needs challenges and decisionmaking processes
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and nurture leads through the sales pipeline ensuring timely followup and engagement to progress opportunities towards closure
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for lead generation and conversion. Provide feedback on market trends customer needs and competitor activities to enhance sales strategies
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the companys products and services as well as industry trends and technologies to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients
Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities including lead generation efforts pipeline status and sales forecasts. Analyze sales data to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers through proactive communication product demonstrations and followup activities
Requirements/Skills:
Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative in the IT industry with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Industry Knowledge: Indepth understanding of IT products services and solutions including software hardware cloud computing cybersecurity and emerging technologies
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospects and customers. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
SelfMotivated: Highly motivated and resultsoriented with a strong drive to succeed in a fastpaced sales environment. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a dynamic and competitive market environment
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and other sales tools to manage leads track activities and generate reports
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Computer Science or related field is preferred
