Qualitative Director Strategy Brand Innovation and Cultural Insight
Salary
Location London (Hybrid)
We have partnered with the global insights and strategy consultancy to help them build a passionate Londonbased team focused on delivering industrydefining work. They are looking to hire one or two Directors both handson Qual practitioners but one of the roles will focus more on strategic growth.
We are looking for either a handson Practitioner or a Growthled person who is highly experienced in working on brand strategy and innovation projects (you understand frameworks and models that inform brand growth and strategy!). Both roles will involve guiding client projects from inception to completion encompassing everything from the initial proposal writing to the final report and presentation.
Some of the capabilities were going to discuss with potential Directors include:
New Business solution development proposal writing pitching to clients enabling XXX of sales
Research Design and Execution designing and leading cocreation workshops insight groups ethnographic studies and online communities to uncover trends and audience insights in the UK and across the globe
Strategy making strategic recommendations and developing propositions for senior stakeholders writing final deliverables and facilitating client workshops
People & Project Management leading client contacts budgetary control overseeing the UK team and building relationships with senior stakeholders across client project teams
Youll lead the development of a prestigious portfolio of clients and brands across several sectors including FMCG beauty skincare luxury fashion and tech categories. Youll be working in close collaboration with inhouse analytics film makers & design teams internationally to deepen insights and impact through innovative mixed methodologies and strategically phased research.
You are recognised by your current employer as an intuitive qual researcher with a sharp talent for identifying insights and delivering headlinedriven writing. You have particular passion for applying emerging approaches to uncover new ideas and tell human stories through storyled debriefs and mini research films. Handson qual research experience throughout your career is a must coupled with product innovation and/or brand strategy experience (you are fully versed with standard brand & comms management thinking models positioning v purpose and strategic tools lets have a proper chat abt it during our discovery call so I can you through details!).
Youll be keen to present at national and international industry conferences sharing research and insights on generational trends casestudies and emerging qual approaches. A passionate interest in culture the ability to spot patterns and challenge beliefs are also essential. Overdelivering on clients expectations is not a dirty word its something you love and are proud of!
