Job Description:
Responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects. Use Agile methods in a fast-paced environment that spreads across multiple business divisions
Groom and manage bi-weekly sprints, backlogs
Actively work with the team bolster team effectiveness and efficiency by managing dependencies, eliminating roadblocks, and planning and preparing for upcoming deliverables
Acting as a coach, advising team members how to optimize their efficiency within the project team best.
Help and enable the team to achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members.
Define sprints, schedule and scope while balancing this with timely and regular value deliveries and organizing and leading working and project status meetings.
Focus on delivering Agile projects that offer outstanding business value to the users in a timely manner.
Manage communications with stakeholders, managing business s expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system.
Promote team empowerment through team-building techniques, ensuring each team member is making a meaningful contribution and fully engaged in the project.
Work strategically with management teams to best define the product s epics and manage those thru multiple sprints.
Qualifications:
Strong familiarity with various Agile and Scrum elements, including Agile planning and Agile project management with Scrum.
Expertise in Jira and related tool sets.
Exceptional executive and leadership reporting skills
Outstanding organizational skills, especially the ability to prioritize. Focus on the project s critical components and ignore unnecessary or distracting work.
The ability to not only remain calm but to actually thrive under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, essential for collaborating with teams and interacting with executive, leadership, and other non-team individuals.
The ability to work well with others always effusing a can-do attitude.
Superior critical thinking capabilities, including the ability to think on their feet.
Showing a comfort with quickly changing priorities, plus a highly developed adaptability and flexibility.
