- Operate the main and ancillary plant on a shift by shift basis, within the confines of the operating procedures and to the Unit Controllers (or other CCR staff) instruction.
- Carry out regular methodical plant tours, recording important parameters and data, reporting any abnormal conditions to the Control Room and ensuring that defective items have been entered into Maximo ERP system.
- Maintain an up to date unit operations log, identifying plant status, abnormalities and risks to continued availability, ensuring all such information is communicated during the shift and at the shift hand over.
- Take a pro-active approach to safety management and actively participate in the Company safety procedures and practices.
- When so authorised, carry out the activities of an Authorised or Senior Authorised Person as defined in the OMCO Safety Rules.
