The School: The school founded in 2016 is a K12 international school located at the foot of the picturesque and historic YuQuan Mountain Haidian District in Beijing. The campus is 200000 square meters of beautiful gardens that integrate natural ecology cultural heritage and modern beauty with 140000 square meters of green space.

The school curriculum is organized into the Primary School grades K5 the Middle School grades 68 and High School grades 912. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Educations nineyear compulsory education program the curriculum is built on the strength from both Chinese and western education.
For Primary and Middle School the school follows a bilingual program using the US Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards along with the Chinese National Curriculum. For High School the school follows the US Common Core and College Board AP curriculum and also offers the UK IGCSE and ALevel UK programs.

Job Overview: Commencing August 2024 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Physical Education (PE) Teacher with a specialization in teaching volleyball. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of primarylevel physical education and possess expertise in teaching volleyball techniques rules and strategies. This role involves designing and implementing engaging PE lessons that promote active participation skill development teamwork and sportsmanship among primaryaged students.

Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:
• Develop ageappropriate PE curriculum skills and concepts aligned with educational standards.
• Design lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities within the primary school setting.
2. Instruction and Coaching:
• Deliver highquality PE lessons focused on teaching fundamental skills.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to students while promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Offer personalized coaching to students to enhance their individual skill development and overall performance.
3. Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
• Assess students understanding and proficiency through observation skill demonstrations and structured assessments.
• Track students progress over time and provide constructive feedback to support their continuous improvement.
4. Extracurricular Activities:
• Organize and supervise extracurricular programs clubs or teams for interested students.
• Coordinate intraschool or interschool volleyball competitions tournaments or friendly matches.
5. Safety and Equipment Management:
• Ensure a safe and secure PE environment by implementing proper equipment usage guidelines and enforcing safety protocols.
• Maintain and organize PE equipment ensuring it is in good condition and readily available for use.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with fellow PE teachers school staff and parents to promote the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students progress achievements and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Physical Education Sports Science or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/license PGCE QTS National/State teaching license/certificate or equivalent.
• A minimum of 45 years of teaching experience
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
