Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  
• Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  
• Performing financial analysis and providing insights to management
  
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  
• Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
  
• Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting
  
• Managing and maintaining an accurate general ledger
  
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  

Requirements

• Minimum academic qualification of Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
  
• ICAN/ACCA Certification is a plus
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Experience in Capital markets and Fundraising is an added advantage
  
• Knowledge in peachtree accoounting software is also preferred
