Job Title: Manufacturing Team Leader

As a Manufacturing Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production of cable assemblies wiring harnesses & looms wire kits electrical & electronic subassemblies small panels & box builds. Your responsibilities will encompass managing a small team of manufacturing personnel ensuring efficient production processes maintaining quality standards and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Salary: 12.44 per hour to 14.00 per hour dependant on experience

Requirements:
Team leader experience in manufacturing.

Be able to use a spanner screw driver and general tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:
   • Lead motivate and supervise a team of manufacturing technicians and operators.
   • Provide guidance coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
   • Foster a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement.
2. Production Planning and Coordination:
   • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
   • Coordinate with other departments such as procurement engineering and quality assurance to ensure smooth production flow.
   • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve production targets.
3. Quality Assurance:
   • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
   • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement process improvements and preventive measures.
4. Process Improvement:
   • Identify opportunities for process optimization efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
   • Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to streamline production processes.
   • Drive initiatives to enhance productivity reduce waste and improve overall operational efficiency.
5. Safety and Compliance:
   • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
   • Conduct safety training sessions and promote adherence to safety protocols among team members.
   • Investigate and address any safety incidents or near misses promptly.

Fixed Day shift

7:30 am till 4pm Mon to Thursday Friday early finish! 7:30am till 1pm

*Good place to work clean and tidy environment.
