Job Description Mainframe CICS & MQ Administration Level 2
Location: Chennai/Hyderabad
Total Exp: 58 years
Summary of key responsibilities
Support Mainframe Online/OLTP environment CICS MQ Web Services
Support Mainframe Application Services WAS
Support Mainframe Message Transfer & Connectivity environments z/OS CONNECT
Good understanding of Messaging Interfaces and Connections to DB2 IDMS IMS
Monitoring Incident and Problem Management of Mainframe Middleware environment
IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents/Problems SW downloads Escalations
Work on Mainframe Middleware administration Tools and Products
Years of Experience
7 Years of experience in CICS & MQ on z/OS.
Technical requirements
Strong knowledge of CICS CICSPlex and MQ
Experience working with: CICS Performance Analyzer SAS IBM Utilities and diagnostic tools such as Omegamon and Mainview for CICS
Proficiency in the maintenance of IBM CICS & MQ software
Skilled at troubleshooting problems in CICS & MQ environment.
Strong dump analysis skills using IPCS
CICS & MQ Version Upgrades
Knowledgeable in z/OS CONNECT and WAS.
Knowledgeable in ZOSMF and ZOWE
Experience in using Xpeditor Strobe CICS Explorer SysView AbendAid FileAid CICSCTG
Experience in customizing ISPF Panels RSU Maintenance Analyzing and Fixing CICS Abends
