Responsibilities
As a Junior Full Stack Developer in our Deals Technology team, the role focuses on developing AI-enhanced solutions to innovate deals advisory and transaction services. This role offers the perfect blend of technical development and strategic impact, working under the guidance of senior developers and in close collaboration with the Deals Transformation team. Your contributions will support PwC's strategic initiatives and digital transformation efforts. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive and dynamic environment, crafting web and mobile applications that cater to our business and client needs.
As a Junior Full Stack Developer in the Deals Technology team, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development of web and mobile applications, integrating AI and data analytics, guided by senior development staff.
- Engaging with the Deals Transformation team to align development projects with strategic goals, learning to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participating in the software development lifecycle, honing skills in coding, debugging, and software design.
- Acquiring familiarity with low code development platforms, recognizing their value in rapid application development and how they can be leveraged within PwC to accelerate project delivery.
- Supporting the improvement and maintenance of existing applications, focusing on scalability, security, and performance enhancements.
- Engaging in continuous learning, embracing opportunities and mentoring sessions with senior developers to develop both technical skills and professional capabilities.
- Preferred Knowledge/Skills
- Up to 2 years of experience or engagement in full stack development, including internships or academic projects.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and an understanding of back-end languages (Node.js, Java, Python).
- Exposure to and experience with low code application development platforms, understanding their role in streamlining development processes.
- A strong interest in AI and machine learning technologies, and how they can be applied to develop innovative applications.
- Basic understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and an interest in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- A commitment to continuous learning and development in a collaborative team setting, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Good communication abilities, capable of working effectively with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
