INSURANCE VERIFICATION REPRESENTATIVE

Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Directly Calling Insurance Companies to obtain Insurance Benefits
- Handling financial obligations prior to procedures
- Coordinating self-pay referrals to the eligibility service
- Appropriately documenting and reporting payment information
- Communicating with patients regarding insurance benefits, payment plans and expectations
- Working with Upper Management and Administration Staff for approvals
- Must be able to multi-task in fast pace environment
- Will be working with multiple programs at one time
Key qualifications to be considered for this position include:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year of customer service or office experience required
- At least two years of registration/insurance verification experience in an acute care hospital or clinic preferred
