Gender and Security Sector Reform Specialist

• Participate in regular update and thematic calls with the Project Manager, the Gender and Inclusion Advisor, the Head of Research and other members of the project team, as well as the project s donor;
• Provide written inputs into/review relevant project documents and outputs, including literature review and Monitoring and Evaluation reports;
• Assist in identifying key resources (academic articles, handbooks, policy-oriented papers), which are directly relevant to the project in order to inform project activities as well as monitoring and evaluation and research components;
• Advise on the design and delivery of evidence-based capacity-building training;
• To the extent mutually agreed-upon, join fieldwork activities and workshops with ARK s Project Manager, project implementation team and ARK s local partners and assist in capacity-building/training portions of programs by providing curriculum development and implementation guidance, feedback, and participating in the execution of the training as presenters on relevant components;
• Input on final M&E report and on lessons and insights for longer-term programming.
