- Design, develop, implement, and maintain network infrastructure.
- Ensuring secure and stable server connectivity and testing network protocols.
- Creating internet domains and optimizing intranet performance.
- Testing data exchange and communication between computers, routers, modems, and servers.
- Monitoring Network capacity and performance to keep up with demand in online traffic.
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
- Manage firewall and network security systems by establishing and enforcing approved policies.
- Analyze network performance and monitor network activities.
- Analyze network security requirements and implement perimeter security changes.
- Utilizing industry best practices for security, disaster recovery, business continuity, change control, the engineer will design, configure, manage and troubleshoot a variety of network firewall technologies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in coordinating and troubleshooting with customers, other infrastructure support activities and business units.
