Data Analyst

• Develop and implement data management processes for capturing cleaning validating and analyzing key financial metrics for SME program graduates.
  
• Configure and analyze enterpriselevel data to support strategic decisionmaking and program improvements.
  
• Collaborate with the data team to design and build learning analytics and impact dashboards in AMIs data warehouse.
  
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data quality assurance procedures.
  
• Provide technical assistance to program staff on datarelated issues including training and mentoring on data management and analysis.
  
• Develop and maintain data documentation including data dictionaries metadata and data models.
  
• Contribute to organizational learning by sharing data analysis best practices lessons learned and success stories.
  
  

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  

• Experience using Google Sheets.
  

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using statistical software such as SPSS STATA or R.
  

• Strong interpersonal and team management skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in statistics data science economics or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  

• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis with demonstrated experience in managing and analyzing large datasets.
  

• Experience in data management including data cleaning validation and analysis.
  

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  

• Experience in the SME sector or in analyzing financial metrics is an added advantage.
